BORBONES WINERY
In the south of the province of Cordoba (SPAIN), in a sea of vineyards in the Sierra of Montilla, is located the property “Lagar Los Borbones”.We are heirs of the oldest tradition and direct descendants of the wine cellar owners “García Toro” and “García Márquez”. The company is currently a limited company “Explotaciones Los Borbones S.L.” The brothers García García still process their wines with the best grapes of the variety “Pedro Ximenez”, which come exclusively from their land.

Nowadays they are a company made up of two properties located in different municipal areas, Montemayor and Montilla , both of them in the province of Cordoba. The one located in Montemayor is called “Dos Hermanas” and it has ninety and eight hectares ( one hundred and sixty fanegas in local measurement) with olive trees and uncultivated lands. The property in Montilla is called “Los Borbones” and gives its name to the company. It has fifty five hectares( ninety fanegas) , thirty seven hectares of vineyard and eighteen of olives trees. |
Our vineyard and winery belong to the “denomination of origin from Montilla –Moriles”. In this zone the best wine is processed from the vines situated in undulating land and limestone of the Sierra of Montilla, a territory characterised by geological, orographic, agrarian and climatic conditions, a privileged zone where our property is located, the perfect habitat for the culture of grapevine
